Loree A Primeau, OTR/L, PhD, FAOTA is a board-certified occupational therapist with over thirty years of experience, most of which has been with children and adolescents with special needs. She has worked in a variety of community settings, including private pediatric clinics, residential treatment centers, and public and private schools.
Originally trained in Canada, Loree earned a Masters of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Occupational Science from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to moving to Denver, Loree was the Executive Director of Autism Community Network in San Antonio, TX. Also while in San Antonio, she managed a private multidisciplinary therapy program for children with autism and served on a Preschool Assessment Team for a local school district. Loree was a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she served as Department Chair for six years. She has made numerous presentations at national and international professional conferences and is the author of several journal articles and book chapters.
